American Lymphedema Framework Project (ALFP) Director Jane M. Armer, RN, PhD, School of Nursing, University of Missouri, Columbia, describes the results from her research showing that 90% of therapists treat patients using the "golden standard" of lymphedema care and that the majority of the time treatment is to the upper extremities in hospital outpatient settings.
