Lead author Mark G. Kris, MD, chief of the Thoracic Oncology Service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center discusses adjusting practice to integrate the results from the multicenter study focusing on the identification of driver mutations in tumor specimens in patients with lung adenocarcinoma. This study was conducted as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment act by the National Cancer Institutes' Lung Cancer Mutation Consortium (LCMC).
