Cervical cancer is a major health problem in developing countries. According to Mahantshetty, an unmet need is the ability to treat the patients optimally so that their outcomes are improved.

Trials are ongoing to determine how to best improve outcomes in women, particularly those in developing countries, says Mahantshetty.
