Author(s):

Former NASA astronaut Tom Henricks will show how team dynamics and organizational culture affect outcomes using dramatic real-life video shot inside of a NASA space shuttle cockpit during launch and landing, as well as scenes of working in space, during a keynote address at the 8th Annual Interdisciplinary Prostate Cancer Congress (IPCC): and Other Genitourinary Malignancies.

Former NASA astronaut Tom Henricks discussed team dynamics and the impact that organizational culture has on outcomes using dramatic real-life video shot inside of a NASA space shuttle cockpit during launch and landing, as well as scenes of working in space, during a keynote address at the 8th Annual Interdisciplinary Prostate Cancer Congress (IPCC): and Other Genitourinary Malignancies.

Henricks emphasized that culture change is required in order to implement new practices and that a multidisciplinary team operates best when there is a shared goal. Although backgrounds and specialties are diverse, the common goal of finding a cure or saving a life drives a multidisciplinary team toward success.
